Lumen consists of a series of dialogues taking place between a man and a disembodied spirit. The spirit is free to roam the Universe at will.

This novel contains interesting passages on the finite velocity of light, and Alien life forms.

Translated from the original French to English by Elethea Appleby Moller and Rebecca Moore.

Written by Camille Flammarion, a French astronomer and prolific author.

CONDITION

In the original publishers cloth binding. Externally, smart. Spine is a little discoloured. Light rubbing to the cloth. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Only a couple of minor marks to the boards and spine. Hinges are starting a little but remain firm. Booksellers label to the rear paste down. Spots to the endpapers. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean with scattered spots.
