Description

Norman Wade's style and subject are reminiscent of John Piper's architectural depictions. Wade uses a vibrant palette, despite an on-the-whole, earthy, dark, tone of the work. Juxtaposed are the two opposites of culture and nature, and both invariably connected here as in life itself.
The work of Norman Wade is highly collected and this is a fine example of the increasingly rare original pieces.
