This set of arches (4 pieces) are made for the FORD RANGER (1998–2002), single or double cabin.
They are made of good quality, hand-laid fiberglass and the surface is black gelcoat (smooth mat). They stick out about 9 cm from the side of the vehicle. Make sure your car is the model described above and shown in the photos. If you are in doubt, send me a few photos of your car showing the front, sides and back. I will reply within a day and let you know if its the right model.
Each arch is installed with 3 or 4 self tapping screws on the underside (cambered surface). The front and rear screw go through the fiberglass, while the two in between are fitted through sheet metal strips which are fixed on the fiberglass (installation with metal strips allows the flange of the flares to stay about 3 cm lower than the flange of the car wing.This design makes street water flash the inside of the flares, so that they dont collect mud and debris). If you fix the arches this way, you dont need to put holes through the arch pockets and the sides of the vehicle, unless you want to. Another screw or two must go to the lower front edge and to the lower back edge (in total 5 to 8 screws for each arch).
The arches are best installed by a professional or an experienced amateur.
When the flares are shipped I will send to your email address installation instructions and a series of photos with details of the installation, as an aid for your installer.
We include the necessary screws, washers and rubber trim.
