INTRODUCTION
Ron van Dongen's third work is every bit as beautiful as his previous two titles. Nudare is yet another book of magical images of botanical scenes, which evoke peace, and serenity.
As with Ron van Dongen's previous works, this hardcover signed book measures a very large 16 ¾ x 14 inches, with the large format being van Dongen's easel on which he paints his images. The BOOK itself is covered in an off-white fabric, with an 8 7/8 x 7 1/8-inch print tipped-in on the front cover with the title stamped below the print in an off-set dark color to the print. The First Edition, First Printing of Nudare was limited to 2,000 copies worldwide, and sold-out quickly. The title is now Out-of-Print, and no copies could be found on the Internet. The reproduction of the images inside the book is top-rate, done on heavy fine matt art paper by Ocean Graphic Productions in China.

Nudare is our third publication on the botanical still-lives of Ron van Dongen. Like the first two books in this trilogy – Alba Nero (1999) and Vulgaris (2000) – Nudare confirms van Dongen's position as the most innovative and exciting artist working in the genre today. This large-format book is 16 ¾ x 14 inches and contains 32 duotone plates printed on matt art paper, hand-bound in gray cloth with a tipped-in cover plate. Ron van Dongen's work has been exhibited throughout the country and is housed in important collections throughout the United States and Europe
SUMMARY
Nudare is one of only 25 copies of the DELUXE LIMITED EDITION with PRINT, of which this copy is # 9/25. This Limited Edition of Nudare is printed on archival matte paper measuring 14 x 11 inches, with a gelatin silver print measuring 13 ¼ x 10 ¼ inches, which is SIGNED and NUMBERED by the Artist on the bottom of the print. The First Edition SIGNED copy of Nudare is without dust jacket (as issued), and placed in a specially designed light-colored fabric lined CLAMSHELL box with a tipped-in image on the cover, which measures 9 x 7 inches, along with the LIMITED-EDITION PRINT, which is found underneath the book in a protective folio of matte finished paper with print mounts inside the folio to hold the print in place. Nudare is a truly beautiful presentation.
This DELUXE LIMITED EDITION of Nudare is presented in AS NEW/PRISTINE condition and was purchased directly from the Publisher. There are 56 pages with 32 duotone images contained in Nudare. This book is another terrific success by this talented Artist.
